About Green Robot

Green Robot AI is an AI chat service that intelligently routes your queries to the most efficient AI model, based on the nature and complexity of your request. Instead of defaulting to high-power AI for every question, our system evaluates each query in real time and selects the model that delivers the best balance of accuracy, speed, and energy efficiency. Simple questions are answered using lightweight AI models that consume minimal computing power, while complex queries are handled by more advanced AI when necessary. This smart distribution reduces wasted energy, making every interaction with Green Robot more environmentally friendly.

Unlike traditional AI services that rely on a single, resource-heavy model for all queries, Green Robot’s adaptive approach ensures that computing power is only used where it’s truly needed. This not only lowers carbon emissions but also improves response times, giving you fast, reliable answers with a smaller environmental footprint. Whether you’re asking about the weather, researching a topic, or generating content, Green Robot delivers the results you need—efficiently and sustainably.

Getting started

You don’t need a subscription to try Green Robot, but you do need an account. You’ll be prompted to create one the first time you visit.

Your browser will remember the login information for a while, so you won’t have to do that every time. To sign out immediately, go to the “support” section of the sidebar.

We partner with Auth0 for user account management. Your login details and associated personal information are handled by Auth0, in accordance with their .

Green Robot AI is a service of Singularity Foundation. We partner with Strip for payment handling and subscription management. Your payment methods and associated personal information are handled by Stripe, in accordance with their .

Credits

AI services are charged based on the length of the prompts and responses. That’s done using credits.

Subscribers get a number of free credits every month. These don’t accumulate or roll over, they reset to a fixed value each time. Most users will find that these free credits are more than enough, but you can also buy credits at any time. The balances are visible in the sidebar:

On the left are shown the credits you have bought. On the right side are the free credits you have remaining for the month. Green Robot always uses these free credits first, before any paid credits.

Rates

Rates change based on the provider used, and the specific AI models selected by Green Robot to process each query. There are a number of options, with different tradeoffs, and new ones all the time.

As a rule of thumb, smaller/optimized AI models are faster, lower-power, and much less expensive. Green Robot takes the opportunity to use these when they fit the needs of a request. The more powerful (and more expensive) AI models are used for more difficult queries. Green Robot’s intelligent routing allows users to enjoy both high quality and fast response time.

You can override this choice at any time from the settings menu though, to make Green Robot always choose either the faster or the heavier models, as you prefer.

How may we help you?

If this is your first time using AI, don’t worry—it’s easy to use, and you can’t break anything. Think of it like sending a text message, but instead of a person on the other end, an AI reads what you write and responds instantly.

How It Works

Type your message in the box at the bottom of the screen and press enter. The AI will read your question and reply just like a real conversation.
Ask anything you like—whether you need help with a task, want to learn something new, or just feel like chatting.
The AI will respond immediately. If you want to keep talking about the same topic, just continue the conversation.

What Can You Ask?

The AI is great at answering questions, explaining things, and helping with creative or practical tasks. Here are some ideas to get started:

General knowledge: “Why do leaves change color in the fall?”
Advice & suggestions: “What are some fun hobbies for seniors?”
Writing & editing: “Can you help me write a birthday message for my grandson?”
Daily tasks: “Give me a simple recipe for homemade soup.”
Just for fun: “Tell me a joke” or “Make up a short bedtime story.”

The more details you provide, the better the AI can help. Instead of asking “What should I cook?” try “What’s an easy chicken recipe for dinner?”

Starting a New Chat

Each time you start a new conversation, the AI begins with a clean slate. It doesn’t remember past conversations, so if you were discussing something earlier and start a new chat, you’ll need to remind it of any important details.

Saving & Continuing Past Chats

Don’t worry—your conversations are automatically saved. If you want to continue a previous chat, just go to your chat history and reopen it. This way, you can pick up where you left off without losing track of anything. You can also delete the chat to remove it from your history.

Other Helpful Things to Know

The AI won’t get offended – You can ask anything, experiment, or change topics whenever you want. It doesn’t care, and will explain things as many times as you like.
It doesn’t “think” like a person – It’s great at answering questions but doesn’t have personal opinions or emotions.
It’s always learning – The AI is based on patterns from lots of information, but it won’t always be perfect. If an answer doesn’t seem right, you can ask in a different way or say, “Explain that more simply.”
Sometimes AI is just plain wrong – Double-check any important information. You can even ask the AI “are you sure?” It will often spot and fix its own mistakes.

That’s it! Just type your first question and see what happens. You might be surprised how helpful (and fun) chatting with AI can be using Green Robot.

The chat interface

Green Robot AI has a traditional chat layout. There is a box at the bottom of the screen to type your messages, and the rest of the screen shows the conversation so far. Scroll up to see the beginning of long chats.

AI settings and other controls can be found on the sidebar, which is docked to the left side of the screen. If the sidebar isn’t visible, you can open it by pushing the small round button in the top left corner. Hide the sidebar again by clicking the X.

The “new chat” button starts a fresh conversation. Older chats are saved, and you can find them in the History section of the sidebar.

History

This section of the sidebar contains a log of your chats. The most recent ones are at the top of the list.

Chats are given short titles to help you find them later. Click the title to reload a chat session. You can continue chatting from where you left off, if you like.

At the bottom of the chat is a “share” button. Pressing it generates a link to view the chat transcript. Anyone with that link can read it, but it contains no information about your identity.
